After seeing some of the clips on here I fancy getting a little camcorder to record the road ahead. Anyone have any recommendations for one (not too expensive!) that I can rig up to start up and record automatically while I'm on the move? It would be good if it could automatically cycle round the memory too instead of running out when it's full.

there is an app for android, presumably for iphone too. no idea what phone you have but might be an option.

dailyroads is on android and has gps for recording speed as well, not bad for a freebie. i've used it a couple of times and got good results

Madman - sadly I have only the most basic phone - absolutely no interest in the things at all except for the very occasional call .

China vasion have a good one atm that records the speed your traveling by gps. I have the dvr HD one with the fold down screen I've recorded some right idiots. You need a good memory card tho I've got a 16gb class 100 imo you will need a memory card no lower than class 6 I've found that lower than class 6 the video clips are jerky.
