    Default Productive day..

Firstly i took a little time to have a scan around, check the oil and water etc. All good.
Got on with looking into sticking some washers on the swirl bar to get it back on nice and tight.
Had the glue in my hand and just thought stuff it and glued the ports in the 10 o'clock position which i am told is the open position.
Got a long screwdriver, squirted a little glue on the end and dabbed it around the circumference of the plastic bit and left it for a while.
I had to take off the common rail to get to the ports so i put it back on and when and fired it up, leaving the ignition on for a moment to get the fuel in. For some reason an error pops up about the fuel pressure - positive deviation. It goes into limp mode straight away but only till i turn off the ignition and fire it up again.
So while the glue is setting i clear the fault codes and they all stay off.
I fire it up and gingerly take it fir a spin, 40 mins later i pull up at home and i must say - its fantastic, there is no black smoke any more under load, there is a lot more power and its delivered so smooth. Also i noticed a huge improvement on the MPG.
Inspired from that blinding success i thought i would tackle the coilovers, what a 'mare.
I struggled with the torx bolts straight from the off but i managed. I get to the rears and struggle to work out wether the adjuster fits on the top or the bottom of the coil. Well, the question is answered when it doesnt fit over the bottom mount even with the rubber off. It does't fit on the top mount with the rubber on either so what i do is cut the rubber mount off so its flat and use it like that. The only problem is that the adjuster is about a MM bigger than the metal mount so it rattles about like a ******.
Im thinkin of using something to wrap around the top mount to sull the noise but cant be too thick or the adjuster wont go back on.
    Any suggestions??
I dont think it is low enough, iv left about 20MM on both ends just to see, im gonna let it settle and see.
Well thats how my day has gone so far, the most iv done to my car in a long time.
Sorry for going on and on lol, here is a couple of **** pics for now, im off for a cuppa.
