Default Where to buy drive shafts

    Hi Guys,

Long time lurker here in need of some advice.

My vectras had wobble for some time now at speed and a mechanic friend has looked it over and says the drive shafts are slightly bent and also worn where they meet in the middle.

He can get replacements direct from VX which is where his employer orders there parts from, but reckons Ill get them cheaper online, can anyone suggest a good supplier who will be reasonably priced?

Ive tried googling but the ones that come up dont seem to have just about every vx but the vectra.

Cars a 1.9 CDTI SRi facelift hatch.

    Thanks

    Oli

    Have you tried these http://www.carparts4less.co.uk/car-parts
Not sure exactly which model you have but they do have them for my 2004 1.9 (120) diesel
Some listed on Fleabay but a bit risky buying used ones - may be as bad as those your replacing

Autovaux are advertising OE driveshafts in this months car mechanics. Always found them reasonable.

Hi, That supplier is a sister site to Eurocarparts - and usually a lot cheaper - I would check but I believe its free delivery as well. I have no connection with them but have used them in the past and always found the parts to be good quality. Good luck with it!

The driveshafts from car parts for less are reconditioned, anyone used any reconditioned parts before, do you think they will be fine? they are a big saving over new.

Factory reconditioned parts are almost as good as new and the guarantee is just as good. Used many reconditioned parts, calipers, gearboxes, steering racks etc. They even sell reconditioned parts at the dealers, all part numbers starting with R are reconditioned units.

What sort of warranty do they give - if its 12 months thats all you will get on new VX parts. Most alternators and starters are recon - thats why you have to return your old one.
