    Default replaced Rad without removal of front bumper

    hi after a poor start to my weekend and discussions on buying used or new rad i chose to go for new £85 inc clips there was a few fiddly bits i encountered but got the job done in 3hrs thats from removal to buying the rad and fitting to endless fag and coffee breaks and filling the system and getting wet with sleet snow rain and sunshine very strange weather today if anyone wants a how to just ask

    removed the air intake took the cooling fan off wedged under the aircon rad unscrew the 2 torx screws disconnect hoses unbolted the mounts carefully move the aircon rad towards you and to the left and fitted some ties to support and the rad came straight out

    Good Job.......but I can't see the point.

    For the sake of 6 screws and 6 clips, the extra access you get from removing the front bumper it's worth getting out the way IMO.

    i do see your point but i didn't have a choice as for limited to doing the job on a slope and couldn't jack the car up

    You don't need to jack the car up to remove the bumper though.
