    just done some insurance quotes to get an idea, its coming back at around £800 i thinks thats alot, i will have 6 years no claims and be 25 its only a 2.0dti ive tried confused and money supermarket im currently with tesco and there coming back more than what im paying now

    im gonna give chris knotts and adrian flux a call but anybody got any other sites that came in best for you

    Tesco were the same for me last year. Go back on their website get a new quote, that should be cheaper. Phone them up tell them your cancelling as you've had a cheaper new quote from them and they will adjust it for you.

    Im in a similar boat, 26, 6 years NCB, no points, no claims, on a 1.9cdti and quotes were coming back at stupid money 1000+ I went to santandar in the end, got it for £800, which i still think is a lot of money (thats fully comp, protected NCB)

    It's not that expensive (£2700 before discount) however can't compare until other factors are known (address, use, mileage, excess, etc)
    However it depends on what your previous insurance was (and is on a like-for-like basis)

    I renewed in January at £600 (£2000 before discount) with nil excess, 25K miles, and Class 1 Business Use
    Ironically that is down from £700 the previous year, but overall slightly over the last few years
    The days of discount car insurance (from the late 1990s) are over, for now

    £780 for us, 26 7 years NBC , my partner who's 21 with 1 fault claim, doing 16,000 miles in a CO12 post code, 150 excess for me 250 for her . Not bad I don't think. ( with lv)

    I love my postcode

    22yr old male (me) with 0ncb (due to changing cars too much) , with mother and my bestmate(female also 22) on policy and Fully Comp with £400 voluntary excess on Vectra 1.8 petrol elegance = £800 with Bell Car Insurance
