Default locking wheel nuts again :(

Broke my locking wheel nut key bout 2 months ago. Now in desperate need of tyres and each tyre place I speak to don't seem confidinet at all.
Looked at most of the post's in here now and they seem to say the same thing.
I phoned my local VX dealer and the parts guy was helpful, told me to take the key down with my log book and they can check their keys to find a match.
When I went down to the parts department he then sent me to the service people (who I hate in VX) and they told me they have no spare keys and they would need to put it onto the ramp at cost from the word go. I told them what I got told and they said they don't have spares again. I tried to argue what I was told and asked why I got told it to waste my time to go down.
I took the car down to protyre yesterday and they had a go. we removed the 2 rears (as these were done by me and were not too tight) but the fronts still wont budge. He tried knocking a 22 and 23 on and failed.
They sent me away as they could not do it on the weekend and I would need to leave it with them in the week.
I have tried knocking a 18 and 19 with no success.
Looking around I don't want to drill as it sound a very bad idea and time consuming.
How or who around Bristol can remove these or what can I do.
I don't have breakdown but am tempted on getting to see if they can get it off.
    All help is massivly appreciated!!

Do you RAC or AA membership?
If you have it takes them 5 mins to remove all 4.

Before you call them let one tyre down and tell them you need to change it, speak nicely to patrolman that turns up and he might do the other one.

It is beyond belief that Tyre places and VX do not have the proper kit to remove locking wheel nuts. Its not expensive and they could easily make loads of money from it.

A garage/ body shop will get them out easily enough

Are they original vx nuts if so you need to get the spinning collar off before you hammer a socket on.

Either that or Halfords etc will sell locking but remover with a course cutting thread that maybe able to squeeze in the locking collar and help remove it

None of the garages I have spoken to seem very confident at all.
How do I remove the spinning coller then?
    They are standard VX.
I am looking at the MCgard ones I have got now to replace and they have the same coller just can't see what I can use with that much force.

You could have a go your self with a hammer and chisel.

Or if you can get hold of an air saw?
Then simply do what you've been doing hammer a 19mm socket on an job done.

The tyre place I used for mine had the proper kit.
Did both in 10 minutes, charged me £20.
The charge was half an hour labour, minimum charge.
Said it would have been same price if they had done all 4.

I broke mine the other day too.

Called in at my "friendly" dealer and they chucked me the FULL locking nut kit they all have.

There was hundreds of locking nut keys, I cant belive there was all of them in the kit they gave me, but there was several hundred of them!!

Anyway I just used the one I needed and returned the set to the service counter.

They let me go out to the car park and undo them myself.

Cost me a couple of bottles of wine!

Thankgod I have a great dealer to call upon in the times of need!!
