thanks guys, but neither will work with font sensors unplugged, so i was thinking if I unplug the fronts at source(where they come from the body) if that makes sense then my rears will work until i get my fixings for the front bumper.....in other words which is the cable that controls front and is it plugged into rear box in boot?

the park pilot module plugs in to the rec and the harness connects to that.. its been a year since i had that apart so cannot recall exactly what it looks like.. from the module the front harness then goes through the car out by the rad where the front bumper parking pilot harness plugs into it..

when you look at the park pilot module its the top black plug that operates
the front parking sensors but doing this will de activate the rear sensors,
rear speaker and the can bus connections as these are in the same plug as
    the front parking sensor wires.

your best just un plugging the front bumper harness to disconnect the front
    parking sensors.

cheers andy thats what I had to do.....vx cant get fixings for 8 days, but because its disconnected at the front - the rear ones no longer work either.......just want a temp solution as rear ones are relied on heavily...lol

thought they were seperate to each other as most peeps just have rears
