they will only have a power figure if they have mapped a car before. remember these are totally car specific.

as for induction kits pipercross are the best make to buy

    Lads,

I Contacted Autosport about their Cams...
    Here's their reply..

    Dear Mark,

Thanks for the enquiry about the Schrick cams for your Vectra.

I have spoken to the technical director at Schrick and he has given me some info on the cams:

    Intake duration: 256 o
    Exhaust duration: 256 o
    Valve lift @ TDC: 0.4-1.9mm

The bottom end torque will stay more or less the same, the mid range and top end will be improved by 5-7%. The best results will be found with an ECU modification and an exhaust system, in which case an improvment of 10-12% could be reached.

    Best regards,

    Paul Nicholls

So we're talking 20ftlbs more torque only then, for £1K.

The way the advert reads, I was hoping for more...

peak power is likely to increase up to 20hp but I would not bank on getting an extra 20lb ft from cams and a unichip.cams are quite mild

well, lets just say that our 3.2's are now quite a bit more powerful than when they left the factory.. Big Phil now runs a proven 253BHP and Mrs GSi runs a proven 240BHP..

i'm not doing much more to tune mine as i'm going to switch to a 2.8turbo.. then get that one up to 340bhp....
