    I use 5w30 GM oil, but I think the engine was happier with the Mobil 5w50. I'm tempted to try Total oil next...the engine ran great with their fuel. I wonder if their oil is any good

    GM oil comes in 5 litre bottles.

    As above, the semi-synthetic is 5 litres and the GM-LL specification is 4 litres
    Bit of a con, as the 5 litres costs £10.80 and the 4 litres costs £11.43
    When at the parts department the staff member brought the 5 litre bottle, I turned it round "er, that isn't GM-LL specification oil"
