Insignia rattling upon cold start

Hi all!
I am new here and here is my problem:

Tried to find discussions in the forum, but nothing find about Insignia.

Concerning the issue:
On different forums there are two main opinions: or VVT or chain.
IMHO it is VVT, because in 99% the noise appears upon COLD start-up.
How it is built? What is a reason? What parts are knocking? How danger is it? How to resolve this problem?
Our local Opel representative says that it is absolutely normal.
For me it is hard to believe.
Can anybody help?

NB. It is about A2.0NHT Turbo engine on Edition 2011, 10 KKm.

It could be your chain/tensioner mate. Is the 2.0T a VVT on the Insignia? If so check your oil levels as well, the VVT needs to be kept topped right up with oil.

Yes what engine is it? the 2.0T, I didn't think was a VVT... could be wrong though.

Either way the cam phasers/actuators/motors whatever that are called this week. Starved of oil normally on the VVT.

A turbocharged direct injected (redubbed Spark Ignition Direct Injection) Ecotec was introduced in the 2007 Saturn Sky Red Line. Displacement is 2.0 L — 1998 cc (121.9 cu in) — with a square 86 mm (3.38 in) bore and stroke. Compression is 9.2:1 and maximum boost is 20.0 psi, delivering 260 hp (194 kW) at 5300 rpm and 260 lb·ft (353 N·m) of torque from 2500–5250 rpm. Engine redline is at 6300 rpm and premium fuel is recommended. The "Gen II" block is similar to the 2.4 L and also features VVT technology.

Unique LNF features[1] include:

* a twin-scroll turbocharger
* gasoline direct injection
* variable valve timing
* sodium-filled valves
* oil-cooled low-friction cast pistons

If it is chain-why the noise almost not appears the engine is hot? what the difference for chain "to scream" when hot?
Yes, it is 2.0 Turbo engine (sorry-I edited it ), topped with oil up to upper mark.

2011 and 10kkm thats what 5-7k miles uk thats mega low miles to start having probs if its got a dephaser pully they dont normaly go till near 30 k i havent got sound on this pc so cant have a listen you could try giving it a oil change see if that helps, benny is prob your best guy to ask to have a listen to it oh hang on is it a rattle or a scream? if its screaming it could be a aux belt tentioner

That's exactly what makes me crazy, mate! first time this noise appeared in first days at 1 KKm on clock, when oil was clean like tear...
