    Default electric sunroof

well lordy lordy ive just walked outside to the car to close the sunroof and
to my surprise its already closed.

is this something std with electric sunroofs that if its been left open for so
    long it closes itself.

i know if you leave the windows open and if it starts to rain they
automatically close so does this apply to the sunroof as theres not
    a spot of rain here.

The sunroof is part of the total closure system so if you close the windows with the remote it closes the sunroof too if it was open. Also the auto close if it rains closes the sunroof as well as the windows.

As far as I know there's no timeout on it though, I've left mine open for hours in the past.

If you've got auto wipers and it starts to rain, the sunroof and windows will close automatically!

    cheers folks

just been reading the manual and it also says if the sunroof has been
left open for 4 hrs then it automatically closes to save the battery

and as already mentioned that its part of the closure via the remote

Interesting, never heard that before, I'm sure I've left mine open longer than that in the past. Is this a facelift only thing perhaps?

I'll have to check my manual later
