Default Help both fog lights not working

    Hi,

Need some help please, it was quite foggy this morning so i put on my fog lights, they came on fine as i could see the light through the reflection of my house door, half way through the journey to work, the bulb failure light came on and the central computer say check fog lamp, so i thought one of the bulbs has gone, when i arrived at work i parked up and checked which fog has blown, and both wasn't working.

So after work i got home, and i checked the connection on both the fogs and they are both fine.
Now surely two bulb can't blow at the same time.

I checked the manual for fuses to fog light, but cant find anything.

Is there a fuse to the fog light?

    Any advice will be appreciated.

    Thanks.

Mr Haynes circuit diagrams run the front fogs back to the engine fusebox although neither the Haynes book nor the handbook list a fuse number for them - I'm guessing as it's not standard on all trim levels.

I'll try replacing the two bulbs with a new set.

    Cheers

Its worth checking the plug next to the fog light unit too. One of my fogs stopped working & it turned out the connections just needed a clean.

Replaced with two new bulbs fixed it. So guess its not a fuse problem then, just cant believe two had gone the same time.
