    Default Dash trim inlay

I was just wondering just how many different inlays there are on the Vec-c / Siggy and which one looks best?

I have an 2006 Elite and it has... er... Ican't think how to explain it so I'll just go take a picture - see below.

I'm aware of the pre-face elite having a kind of wood effect (I believe it was called tortoise shell or something like that) and I've seen a kind of brushed aluminium effect one and am I correct in saying that some don't have any inlay at all?

What does everyone else have and what are your favourites?

    Pics would be good too.

EDIT: That includes those of you who have painted / wrapped / sticker-bombed it.

The prefaces don't have the inlay, the facelifts do. There are a few different inlays on the facelift dependant on model.

I think he just means the whole trim that goes across the dash and along the door cards, i.e. pre and post facelift.

I've got the silver metal/aluminium effect inlay in my Siggy Design (as fittied to the SRi Veccy) which looks good. But I never understood why VX only ever fitted it to the dash and front doors, not the rear doors?? I'm not keen on the pre-facelift tacky brown wood effect trim fitted to the Elite - it's just nasty! LOL. A carbon fibre effect inlay might look good, or even piano black??

Not sure about Vac preface's but the preface signum elite has an inlay, perhaps the vecs don't though.

Edit - I stand corrected, it wasn't the inlay that was different, it was the whole strip.

I've noticed the VXR has what looks like carbon fibre effect (actually, it's more like a diamond pattern) and the Opel GTS has a walnut effect (what's the VX equivelent?)

I think I'll try removing mine and do something different with it.
