    Default Bulb fitment, recommendations

Hiya folks, just a few questions. I plan on using silvatec indicator bulbs for the front and rear on my 08 vec estate, just wondering whether the pins on the bulbs need to be opposite or offset?

Also a question on 501's, I'm after a decent pair to closely match the bi-xenon headlights, like same sort of light colour, bluey white, any recommendations please? Would love a quick picture showing side lights with bi-xenon headlights just to convince me

Are the rear number plate bulbs on the estate 501s too?

Thanks in advance for any help

How did you go about doing the front ones, i've worked out it's a bumper off job on the facelift, was out just looking at it for 15 minutes, seeing if there was anyway around actually having to take the front bumper off

Any tips on how to do it, i've seen threads on bumper removal and it doesn't seem that bad, but all of that to change a bulb, say whatttt Gonna get all the bulbs for the change before i do it, wanna get some blue tint, main, fogs and safe home bulbs before i remove the bumper and do it all in one.

Rears on the estate were offset too

Back ones in a hatchback are offset, I would imagine they use offset for everything as it is cheaper to only use one type of bulb.

Bumper off and headlights out..Well thats the way i did mine as it was the only way i could get access to the indicator bulb covers...Pain in the tits but worth it for the non fried egg look..
