The sensors would be the same I'd imagine - the brackets you're talking about are a specific shape to each position. These are painted, and then act as the surround to the sensor, which then clips into place.

I know that makes no sense, but I think the dealership are actually taking sense and they're correct. If you look at it form the front, you can see the sensor in the middle, the bumper around it and a thin bit in-between. It's this thin bit which is the actual bracket that attaches to the bumper on the back...

If you go to this link mate, you'll find item 6 is what you're after. You want one of 9271544, 2 of 9271545, and one of 9271545. These have to be painted as they show out the front of the bumper...

cheers mate......that sounds right mate, imagine i have popped out the sensors from the bumper but the fixings are still in and i can pop the sensors back in at any time- its the bits that are still in the bumper ...plastic welded onto it or something, does that sound right?

that's exactly it mate - they should be painted too...? They mould to the bumper shape so I doubt they're the same for the pre facelift but if you can get a part number off one of the sensors it should be the same I'd expect...

Mine were glued to the bumper with some sticky tape or something, but one is now connected using copious amounts of araldite instead...
