    Default Leather seats ??

Hello everyone is there much or a difference between a elite leather interior and a Sri leather interior ? I've just been offered a full Sri heated leather set up complete with door cards and arm rest and 2 heat switches for £435 including postage is this a good price or am I paying to much ?

    Thanks

Yes, there's a massive difference. The SRi leather are sports (bucket style) seats that hold you in place as a pose to the Elite ones that are softer and flat and you slide out of if you corner hard

That's not too bad a price if the SRi leather is in very good condition and complete. I paid £370 for mine without the arm-rest or switches and I got mine cheap compared to some. They go for £500 - £600 for good ones compared to £200 - £300 for Elite sets.

Oh you rub it in everytime with what you paid for yours Ian!!

At £435, snap em up quick. They really are so much nicer than the standard Elite Leathers - Even if you have to spend a few hours cleaning them etc, it will be a very worthwhile upgrade, and if you decide to sell, they will hold their value if you look after them (AG Leather Balm is great!!)

Just a thought, but has anyone any idea how much it would cost to get the cloth sri seats retrimed in leather by an upholsterer?
Dunno if it would be a cost effective way of upgrading?

Several people have had this done, it usually costs between £900 and £1500
