    Default solid conversion flywheel

    hi iv got a vauxhall astra 1.9 cdti sri and the flywheel is on its way out and was wondering if there was a solid conversion flywheel for these?

    yes cg motorsport done em for years, not sure of price and your gearbox will go next as it will take the stress

    Not yet there isnt and I wouldnt recomend one as some cars tend to kill gearboxs after a solid conversion is done.

    Have a search as its been talked about quite a few times.

    And bogjust ring around as the going price is about £700 (Mr Clutch will do it for that I think)

    iv said this before and i cant understand how having a solid flywheel would damage a gearbox...

    solid flywheel's have been used for years and years and no ones ever said that the gearbox has gone tits up due to a solid flywheel lol

    the dmf is a good idea but VERY badly designed.
