    Default 314 break squeal help!!! really loud and annoying

    Hi guys just fitted the 314 brake upgrade thanks to seb for the parts I fitted them on Sunday and for the first five mins they were silent but when.driving home and to and from work they constantly squeal just pulled up at work everyone in car park looking as if to say WTF lol any ideas?

    Had same prob when fitted mine stopped them
    Still the same
    Turned out it was the shield that protects the ball joint
    Wanted bending back as was touching the disc
    Making it squeal

    I've also got the 314 mm disks on mine but they'd been on a good while before I had this problem. Well it's not so much of a problem as it turned out to be a stone. It was trapped between the disk and the metal dust cover. A slight modification sorted it. Is bend it a tad more out the way haha.

    Guys when I changed the discs I did not see a guard so surely if I couldn see it it would not be able to catch on the disc? Or does it catch on something else?

    it looks like a flap you will see it its in the center lower part of the disc did you put copper grease on the pads when fitted!

    the shyte shield is a big shield that protects the disk from excess dirt, if it's not catching then thats good, if it's only squeeling when you brake i would sugguest using some copper slip on the pad's..

    This is what was causing my wheels to squeel like hell. Extremely simple to fix. Wheel off, screw driver, bend it back, job done.

    Well guys at half four this morning after finishing work I found.my self lying in the.work car park with a screwdriver attacking that stupid plate as that is.what was causing the prob I only have about a two mil gap but thats enough for now when.I get it on ramps il move it out of way more Cheers for all your help
