Default Airbox mod on 1.9 CDTi (150) elite

Just done this using the How2 on here (very easy to follow). Just cleaned up the filter for now but might put a performance one in at some point just wondering which ones are best? Also might get a tuning box and wondered same, which are best? Not tried out car yet with Airbox mod but will give feedback on here when I do

Remove the pipe that goes from airbox to front of car (air feed) took mine off and has a nice rubble sound to it also cdti 150
Imo normal airfilters do the same as performance ones so save ya money
Don't get tuning box get remap which is better and cheaper if ya shop around

Cheers for the advice I'll leave the filter where it is. Ill take that pipe off too, good thing with these is its free so if I'm not happy can put them back on. Just been out and defo more responsive with the funnel off the Airbox, can't say I noticed a massive sound difference but I'm more bothered for a bit more throttle than throat but I'll defo try the pipe off. Heard of a place in Leeds who are quite good (and cheap) at remapping in Leeds I'll get on the googleweb. Once again thanks alot for the advice
