    Vehicle : Vectra

    Trim : VXR-D

    Engine : 1,9 CDTi 150

    Year : 2006

    Default F40 gearbox and Quaife

Has any 1 fitted a Quaife ATB diff into a 1.9 CDTi with a F40 gearbox

Looked on the Quaife website and they list 2 different diffs for the f40 box 1 for the VXR / OPC and 1 for the Saab F40 box

Spoken to Quaife sales and they don't know the differences they told me to speak to either Courtenay of Regal neither of which I will never use due to past experiences ,

So has any1 done this yet ?

The gearboxes are all the same but the flywheels and clutch will probably differ to match up to the engines. If it fits a Saab 1.9CDTI 16v, it will fit a Vectra 1.9CDTI 16v. The 8v varients can be different though because they started using the M32 boxes in the facelift Vectras (as per another thread).

The only stumbling point is obviously the splines on the diff for the driveshafts , neo brothers say the standard diff for the petrol and diesel are the same part number but can't tell me the vauxhall number , so if the Saab and vauxhall boxes are interchangeable it's looking good

Well looked on EPC and it seems like the 2.0 turbo petrol Vectra uses the same inter cv joints as the 1.9 CDTi so the splines in the diff will be the same
