    Talking Simota Induction Kits

    Right then peeps

Does anyone on here have one of these on their 150 cdti?

If so are they any good or do I just stick with the normal airbox with both mods and a k&n panel?

    Thanks

Had one on my Astra pretty good like.

Nice bit of induction noise. Didn't notice any driving difference from de restricted air box

Depends if you want noise or performance I guess...

I've always been told to steer clear of induction kits. Most of them don't have a surface area that's any bigger than a normal panel filter.

That said, I'm also steering clear of K+N these days. 2 MAF sensors needed since putting a K+N panel in. For the extra 2bhp it's just not worth it in my opinion.

Save some money for the new back tyres and drill your airbox.

I had one on mine (which leemarksmith has now) and as mentioned doesn't really add anything major on performance (but noticeably smoother) but makes a great sound, worth it for that alone (IMO)
