hi, i have a 2004 2.2 vectra auto, does anyone know how to check the auto box fluid level? i cant find a dipstick.

THe 2.2 auto box does have a dipstick although looking at the haynes manual I cant say exactly where it is. The dipstick is held in place by a retaining bolt and the stick itself looks like it has a circular top to it. The box fitted to the 2.2 petrol models is the AF23 type and the box fitted to the 2.2 diesel models is the AF33 type.
Im not sure when the 2.2 direct petrol models came out but if that is what you have
then it may have a totally different auto box altogether as the manual models were fitted with a six speed gearbox.

hi, ill have a look again, i even asked a vauxhall service dept and they didnt know.
