how to open the key fob

hi i would like to replace the casing for my key fob gor my vecra 55 does anybody know how to do this and also if you could post pics or a video would be nice

Not too sure on that one, the other style was so easy. will try adn find out tho, cos id like to do the same.

Its a messy job, done quite a few but now buy them new and cut a new key and program in with Vaux-com

I used to split them with a Dremel as a sharp modelling knife wont cut through (safely) the section around the key and the bottom chrome retainer.

Once split changing the boards easy and don't loose the positive battery clip

Then carefully apply super glue on reassembly and leave for 1 hour before putting the battery in, the Cyanoacrylate fumes build up on the circuit board battery connectors (white residue) so allow plenty of airing time.
