Default Is this guy having a laugh???????!!!!!!!

This happened yesterday, i smelt burning so i looked out my window and to my horror found my next door neighbour had a large fire going about 2-3 metres from my pride and joy!!!!

I was fuming, he got an ear bashing then an ear full of my exhaust on full chat as i moved my car to safety. I didnt call the fire brigade or police but certainly considered it.

Is it just me or was i right to be annoyed?

Since when did he have the right to light a fire on a public highway? I would have called the fire brigade and let him explain himself to them
Lois Griffin: Peter! You're bribing your daughter with a car?
Peter Griffin: Ah, c'mon, Lois, isn't 'bribe' just another word for 'love'?

Oh forgot to say, just to complicate things lol. its not a public highway, its a private street. I don't know loads about the legalities of private streets, i'm only renting and only been there for 6 months, but one neighbour said everybody owns the path and road infront of their house, but i dn't know what would happen if i called the fire brigade? I was seriously close to calling though, actually dialled it then didnt bother in the end.

a bucket of water would've been my solution to the fire and maybe a second one for the numpty who started the fire would have been good to wake him out of whatever drug induced stupor he was in.
I had something similar while in the park a few weeks ago. I sat on a bench then get engulfed in white smoke from a garden 20metres away. I knocked and told the bloke it was causing a nuisance and if it wasn't put out I'd get the brigade to do it. he refused and 10mins later he had an appliance drowning his garden to put it out lol

Was the car ok?? cant imagine the heat would do the wrapped roof any favours!!!!

You did right to kick off mate, wether he was legally right or wrong its more about having respect for other people belongings. I'm sure if his car was there he would of moved it

The roof is painted not wrapped, it used to be wrapped though lol. It wasnt going long before i moved my car but there was some light smoke damage on the very back, cleaned it off though, was sort of a fine black dust, prob remnants of whatever he was burning, leaves and garden stuff i think! We have have recycling bins for that stuff!!

I also know that the yaris on the other side wasn't his either. I did regret all night nit calling the rozzas or fire brigade, prob would have been the only way to make him learn a lesson
