There is generally no comments about this part, specially concerning the BC activation.

I found it installed in my 1,9cdti however not in AC option menu as it is described in owner manual. So I wonder is it the same heater they talk about.

    "Direct activation
To activate directly with ignition on, call up the manual settings menu and select item Auxiliary Heating then select menu item On."

So is there any ideas for mod. So I can switch on the heater before the main engine via some kind of switch.

I see in TIS some option for remote control. They mention Remote Control Unit and Remote Control Receiver so maybe there is an option to start it via remote. As they talking for "Teach-in stationary heater remote control" with Tech-2

What you have is add-on heater. It's not a complete auxiliary heating system, those were fitted to Vectras too. It was the Eberspacher D5WS heating unit, which is very similar to what you have fitted but there are more parts that need to be installed in order for it to function independently, such as water pump, exhaust and so fort. The difference between the two is that your works only when the engine is on and it will help to get it up to temp. As soon as the coolant reaches 80 C it will turn off. If it drops below during the ride it will kick in again. The other can be used also with engine off, can be scheduled, remote started etc. Personally I'd be glad to have either of those, vectras (and diesels in general) are notorious for taking their time to get up to temp which in winter months means I drive about 10 km with hat and gloves on before slightly warm air starts comming out of the vent ducts

for more info see manual for D5WS intallation - http://www.ifz-berlin.de/ins_pdf/09163244.pdf - it's in german but you will get the idea about what to look for on your car to see which unit you actually have.
