Default Best way to change the Auxiliary belt

    Hi all,

I am thinking about changing my aux belt as it's started to slightly squeal when the engine starts. I am wondering whether accessing from the top through the air filter housing or through the wheel arch would be the best to change it.

Therefore if you have already done it, your comments are more than welcome.

    Thanks in anticipation
    jay

I did mine from up above. Makes it a million times easier if someone else can help put pressure hold tensioner whilst you pop new belt on

A blob of jam or honey normally stops the squealing... Alternatively a new belt

If time isn't an issue, i found it easier to remove the air filter box completley, gives way more access and it can be done without assistance as you can see the belt and tensioner more easily.
