    Default CSC

    i have removed my gearbox /bellhousing for to fit a new clutch dmf and csc
    the csc is fu bared (fell apart) on removal LOL
    when everything is going to be built back up i was wondering do you bleed the csc from the top of the gearbox insitu or is there a certain procedure for it

    I bled mine when assembled into the car, there is a bleed nipple for doing it, near to the flexible hose connection.

    The combined clutch / brake fluid reservoir is a bit weird though. The rear most section is for the clutch and the level has to be quite high before it fills that part up. Luckily it is translucent, so you can shine a torch at it and see if it is full before you start bleeding.

    I never knew that Ste...

    I bled my clutch a few weeks ago and thought I'd completely killed it. I used a large syringe to suck the fluid through from the nipple but it didn't draw anything behind it, even though the reservoir was pretty full. I guess the clutch section was empty...
