We were sitting in McDonalds today when a tall 30ish Biker came in, in all his leathers.

My 7 year old son thought he looked super cool so I said ask him about his bike.

He did and the man invited him outside to sit on his bike. I beleive it was a Honda Firestorm.

This bloke was great and didn't mind at all that my son was interupting his
burger and fries etc. They had a really good chat too.

He loved it

Looking at your reply I detect I may have somehow upset you.

If this is the case it was not meant.

It was just nice that someone took time to give my son a good memory which he will cherish.

No, I am not upset at all, infact I am delighted you posted the thread.

I am a middle aged bloke who enjoys riding a motorbike, however, you call into a pub/cafe/ restaraunt and you would think you had two heads.

I was just trying to make the point that you shouldnt judge people by their appearances and most bikers are extremely friendly, bit like Vectra owners, we all have one thing in common but come from totally different backgrounds.

I have just finally packed him off to bed and he said he is going to tell everyone at school tomorrow that he rode a big bike. Nice

And to top it off my son thought this man was the coolest person he had ever seen.
