    Exclamation Front Wiper Settings????

    Hi peeps, I have a Vectra C 1.8 Z18XE 2002 model.
I have auto rain sensors on my car and 1 click up on the arm turns the sensor on, The 2nd click up puts my wipers on a slow but constant movement the 3rd setting just stops my wipers where ever they are, Im guessing that setting 3 is suppost to be a fast setting but it dont work, Any ideas lol...
I would imagine imagine it would be the arm itself is knackerd but wanted to check 1st.

I would say it could be the motor.

The intermittent and slow speed run on different circuit to mac speed due to going through a resistor

Going back to your wiper problem ..... - this looks similar to the wiper problem a lot people have in the winter. Do a search. It may be an electrical problem in the motor area or the "park" microswitch in the motor unit (not the actual motor itself). There is a "how to" to imrove the earth connection in there. - Could try tapping the motor unit to to see if the earth connection suddenly makes then you'll know for sure.
