    Default Crap wheel bolt key

    Disgusted.

What kind of crap are these wheel bolt lock keys made of.

Bust mine today at the longest point and I am left with a slow puncture on a wheel I cant take off.

I threw mine away, don't use locking nuts anymore... If someone's going to go to the effort to jack my car up to nick my snowies in the 21st century they can gladly keep em ha

I would not put that on a public forum and they can quite easily be stolen look at the thread a couple of weeks ago where the snowies were stolen in the snow

My OEM Vx ones started to slip on one bolt so I took the hint and got rid of them. Replaced with McGard set.... massively better design.

£10 posted to Dublin sounds like a right bargain

Going to a garage tomorrow and if they can take one off they are all coming off.

Fair play to whoever wants to bother stroking my 17" SRi alloys in this day and age.

My previous car (Mitsi) had 2 keys in the box......great idea considering they cost so much to replace.

Not only the wheels thieves are after.

You can have the crappiest wheels going, but the tyres might be worth something to someone.

    Update:

Brought it to a local independant garage and they removed the 4 lock nuts and repaired the puncture for 40yoyo (£30).

They used the Dynomec kit. 25 mins later I'm driving back out, full of air, safe in the knowledge that I will be able to remove a wheel again if needed.
