Can someone confirm that it is 7.6 litres for the 2.2 auto direct engine?
Changing the stat tomorrow and want to also flush out the system and replace the antifreeze with a new 50/50 mix.
Thanks.

7.4 for the Z22YH Auto according to Haynes m8. 7.6 is for the Z22SE Auto.
Thanks Rushy. I got the info from Autodata which says 7.4 litres for the manual transmission, 7.6 for the auto.
If I put in 3.75 litres of antifreeze (50% of 7.5) then top up with water I don't think it'll be too far out.
I put 2.5L of VX antifreeze in then 2.5L of water then mixed the remainder in the bottle and poured it in as needed. You wont be able to get all the coolant out so its not going to be the full 7.4/7.6 bang on anyway.
Yes, I made that mistake years ago. Mixed up a 50/50 ratio of antifreeze and water, then had over 2 litres left over and I was left scratching my head as to why it wouldn't all go in.
Annoying thing was, as there was only water left in the system from flushing through with a hosepipe, there ended up being less than a 50/50 mix in the system.
That's why after I have flushed the system this time, I am going to add 3.75 litres of neat antifreeze, and then top up with water, so hopefully there will be a closer ratio of a 50/50 mix.
Job done, all made even easier with the drain plug on the rad that I didn't previously know about.
Temp sits at 84 now though, instead of the previous 89 to 90.
