Saloon/hatchback/pre face/facelift rear bumper?

I understand the sri and non sri rear bumpers are different. But is there any difference between pre-facelift and face lift? And is there a difference between the hatchback/saloon?

I'm asking because i'm wondering if an sri bumper from a facelift hatchback will fit a preface saloon elite (mine)

Also am i right in saying there were no pre-face sri saloon?

All in aid of having a vxr diffuser and an xp rear skirt!! Soooo much trouble this is causing me!

they are all the same fitting as in preface facelift so should fit fine

Aren't the saloon ones longer from the arches to the rear due to the longer boot?

The boot appears longer because the roof is shorter, i think?

It may not be the most definitive thing, but on auto trader the length of both saloon and hatchbacks are listed as 4596mm

IMO preface and facelift non-sri bumpers are same size. Just the lower insert (skirt) is different, and was sprayed on facelift ones. And it doesn't matter if it's saloon or hatch. SRi are all the same.

Non sri skirt just pulls off, sri one seems to be one piece. Other wise i wouldnt have have to buy the sri bumper to fit the vxr diffuser and xp skirt. Spent alllast night reparing and sanding my sri bumper ready for primer tonight. Trying desperately to get it done for saturday rolling road in leeds. Looking unlikely though!
