EGR Valve

I have a 1.8 SRi 2002 Vectra C "Z18XE Engine"
After reading threw many Forums over and over again im still comfused...
Has my engine got a EGR Valve, if so where would it be located.
Some Forums say it does have 1 and others say it doesn't, Ive looked all round the throttle body and cant find nothing like it.

it does have one,

my 2002 1.8 z18xe has one, its not beside the throttle body though. its to the right of the engine cover, bottom right if youre looking top down.

ive bought a new one on ebay for 35. just waiting for it to stop raining so i can get it changed

Your a star mate, Found it straight away, Has wires coming from it and is held down by 2 Torx Screws...

Could be wrong, but I think the early Z18XE engines had them, but they were phased out fairly soon.

Have cleaned mine a few times, but actually just ordered a blanking plate for it this morning.

Edit: I know what you mean, I had various folk tell me my engine categorically didn't have one, but it most certainly does!!
