    Default 1.9 cdti 150 Fault: P1109 B SENSOR

My car is registering fault P1109 - B SENSOR INTERMITTENT. I presume it's a dodgey boost sensor? I've lost all power. Hardly moves above 2k rpm. I've taken the sensor off the manifold and cleaned. Still getting the problem. Quick restart and did 40 miles on the m6 sound but after another restart had this same problem. Does it need replacing? Vx want 83 quid for a new one.

Take the part number and ring around. Try vauxhallworldparts.com for starters.

Would you say that is what needs to happen before I buy a new one though?

It does sound reasonable. I you can find someone nearby, it is easy to swap them over to see if the fault is rectified.
