Default VXR Test drive booked for tomorrow so I have a few questions.

Ok, I may have sworn that I would never own a VXR but if we didn't change our minds we would all be boring!

I have a drive booked in THIS (hope the link works)

I have never really looked at one before so apart from the obvious things is there anything else to watch out for?

What are they like to drive on a long run?

What is the MPG like round town and on a motorway run?

Also if I did buy it I would get rid of the 20's for something smaller, anyone got a pic of one on 19's?

    Cheers
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

Ride comfort and tyre replacement costs but I may learn to live with them if I get it

Too small, I only ever like bigger cars, 4/5 doors. While I think the RS is ****ing awesome it would only ever be a weekend car for someone like myself.

Ok well the only things I hear about the Insignia VXR are:-

    - Very good 4x4 system, holds the road well.
    - Very heavy car so standard Brembo brakes are not up to the job when pushed
    - Once remapped (Stage 1) the clutch isnt up to the job and may fail
    - Tyres on 20" are quite expensive at around £1200 per set (last around 8000-12000 miles)
    - Car needs 20" wheels just to fill the massive wheel arches
    - Parts are expensive so dont crash it, also parts are rare so you may have to wait quite a while if you need anything.

Thats about it I think from memory...
