    Default Damage.

19in Snowflakes damaged by pot holes on my Vec cdti, got a claim in against the council but still ongoing. The problem is the car shudders slightly and have been quoted £376 per wheel.Anyone else had this happen and what did you do about it. Help please.

Dont think you have a chance or council will owe alot of people new wheels!, the roads are a mess all over, my snowflakes are cracked all over! But i cannot see wasting even 10 minutes writing to them as they will probably laugh at me asking for some new snowflakes.

Same problem with my Snowflakes, cracks everywhere Due to pot holes.
I have been using tyre weld, to stop them going down and it works. Will get them refurbed, at some point. If your getting a shudder, i would spine it and see how bad it is on the inside rim.

Unless you have hit a large pot hole, more then an inch deep, then it is unlikley the council will do anything.

You would also need to take photos showing the depth, using a pound coin or tape measure as a refernence.

I came off my last bike at 10 mph, the council would not entertain a claim as the ruts were not more then 35mm.

My son broke two wheels, and a wheel arch on a huge hole.

Even with witness statements, measurements, photos and a lot of official letters, they still ducked out of paying anything..............
