Default SOT-122 and Bury CC9060..Stereo or Mono??

    Hi All!

Firstly, thanks for all being here! Since i've had my siggy you have been my first stop to fix or 'play' with certain parts of the car.

I was hoping someone could help with a handsfree issue.....

I have the '05 CD70 in my '06 Facelift Siggy that is too old for Aux In (without soldering) So to get my iphone tunes playing through the radio I decided to upgrade my current bury handsfree to the CC9060 (Halfrauds deal for £70) which can play the music through the system. I bought the new Bury kit and installed it with the SOT-122 cable, hooked it up to the ignition and got it working no problem.

My issue is that the sound is coming out mono..... the Bury has a switch box that lets you pick which speakers to use for output...Left, Right or Both, so i know it knows which is which.

When I set the slider to use both speakers the sound that comes out isnt stereo but just mono (confirmed with Bohemium Rhapsody!)

Really weird, Do you reckon its the Bury kit not handling the stereo signal or something else? Might be worth mentioning that I could only get the sound to work on the Bury by enabling the 'External Speaker' option on the bury kit and plug the 3.5 jack into the socket next to the microphone socket.

    Anybody else noticed this?

    Scotty

Good call, I remember when I was putting it in that I noticed the jack plug didnt have many lines on it. Its the one that comes as part of the kit so I guess that means the Burys are only mono?? well that sucks.

Guess no decent iphone play back unless I get the Aux in sorted!

    Thanks for the reply )
