Default Hi all clutch vibration on a vectra is this normal

    hi

i got in my car today and I noticed if you hold your foot lightly on the clutch pedal it pulsates or feels like a vibration when you hold your foot it appears slightly less than engine speed, I'm presuming this is normal ????? or Not It does disappear as the pedal goes further down.

is this normal on vectras 150 sri and as anyone else got this problem

also is a dual mass flywheel regarded the same as a pressure plate in older cars .

because i have a warranty that covers the pressure plate would this be covered if this is the cause of the vibration and is the clutch failing we just bought the car about a week ago from a garage we just paid to have the timing belt and water pump done to be on the safe side its only done 72000 miles the car pulls ok but on tick over you feel the vibration .should i worry about this or let it fail in due course i want to tow a caravan in the summer would this be ok .

also anyone got any links on a diy to do this job yourself i would like to know how long a job like this will take and can this be done by my self to save money ?????

    on a vectra 2005 plate .
    any help would be appreciated

when i had my clutch and flywheel done there still was a slight vibration when depressing the clutch, did not bother me, i just did not notice it after a while, it still drove as normal with no probs.
