    Default My latest plaything....

    Attachment 51761

I finally gave in to the wifes constant nagging. I think this is going to keep me busy for the next few months. Needs some bits resprayed , and the inside of the cab to be recarpeted and maybe waxoyl the footwells. If anyone knows of any good lorry breakers, this will help as I want to change the steering wheel and maybe a few other bits as its showing signs of it age now. Currently done 120k miles , so fairly low for a lorry.
Managed to get 18 MPG yesterday from Lincoln to Milton Keynes , not too bad for a 6 litre engine.

Looks nice Richard, me and the mrs have been looking at similar sort of things, yet to find the right one.

How long before the modding begins, alloys, smd conversion etc......

Not sure its going to look good on the Vectra-c stand at billing but at least you can cook the food for everyone in the dry.

Aree you going to get the BSR remap for it?

    Hmmmmmm.....Lee

I dont think we have enough space outside the house , to many vectras here....lol. Its going to live at the stables , the guys who owns the stables also has a transportation business , so this will park with the rest of his lorries and will be serviced by him and his mechanic ( nice and cheap).

Looking good... We attend local shows with our daughter & have been lucky to borrow a box (trailer) & tow car when needed, I'm sure my mrs would love something like that lol...

I think I have free reign to play for the next few months on my own car or maybe get the Karmann beetle cabrio I have always wanted.
