    Default xp splitter

eh up peeps. just a question to anyone who has fitted a xp1 front splitter, ive seen some on ebay but there not genuine vx parts so dont know how good of a fit it would be. id rather buy a genuine second hand part and re spray it. also want to know how to fit it. been saying for ages im gonna get on with mods to the vec but never get round to it. so ive seen a set of chrome fogs also on the bay so might as well do the two jobs in one go, thanks guys. rob

I have retrofitted aftermarket one. As a guy from paint shop told me, part is ok, just the gaps are bigger than if you fitted the original one. But after spraying everything looks very well.

Like I've said before I really want to replace for a vxr front end but my mrs would kill me spending that kind of money ( and not spending it on her ) that's why I'm going for signum fogs painted v grille and do splitter, not as good as the vxr/xp2 front end but im hoping it will look loads better than standard sri. What's involved in smoothing the splitter into the bumper? My bumper does have a few chips in it so could do with getting it sprayed I guess

Like Paul said, it's fibreglass, which means it's very sensitive for damages. Last winter I had a high curb edge damage and I was surprised how easily it got broken. Although, same thing could happen with original one...
