Dilemma... vxr or focus st

Well after owning two vectras Ive decided Im not going to get another one but something more exciting. Ive test driven both the focus st and astra vxr and there both great cars.

Misses loves the vxr and its a lovely car..26k miles on a 56 plate in arden blue for 9k

I do like the vxr but it was quite a firm ride and in my opinion it took a good shove on the throttle to get the same response as the st. The ride in that was softer and alot quieter and it has more features like lumber supports and heated seats. Obviously being a vx forum then most will say vxr but does anyone have experience of both?

Have a couple.of days but the vxr wont be there long especially with the low mileage and condition for its age. Its from a main dealer.

I dunno mate - 9K is a lot of money for a car that's 5 years old even if it is a VXR...

The Vectra is getting old, and for that sort of money I'd expect you could get something a lot newer...

depends on if you need room in the back or not, i guess the focus is slightly bigger than the astra

I would not chose any of them

think you would have to go with your heart mate as a tricky choice ..

Hmm the vxr astras are still quite expensive. The focus st is the same price but its an 07 bit its done 40k. 26k in five years is nowt really but Ive had a look and it does seem about right. If it had more mileage then id agree but can't argue with the mileage.
