    Default No locknut key!

Had my car in for service today.
Found to only have two wheel locknuts fitted.
Both rear wheels. Key was in it's box in the glovebox when I bought it.
Get it out and it's broken, useless!
Now have to remove two locknuts with no key.
    Idea anyone?
Genuine Vauxhall part, has anyone had to do this and been successful?
Look like massive size to me...?

It's booked in to have them removed in the morning at my local tyre place.
Price wise, all they would say is £30 + vat an hour!
Only two to get off so should **** it in an hour or less.
Was hoping I could do it myself but the only socket I had that came close, span on the locknut after a little pressure.
I suspect a 23mm socket would get it but I only have 21 and 24.
    Sods law!

i would just pay them to do it mate.. if they kill your alloys they owe you replacements, if you smash them up you pay... besides they should have the correct removal tools..

    Yes I can.
Have the card with the number on it in the box.
Only two nuts though so don't see the point.
Steel wheels as well so don't think they're really needed.
Problem is I do a 50 mile round trip commute to work every day and it's all motorway, I can't afford to get a puncture and be stranded.
I was also told at service the o/s/r tyre has a nail in it.
    Needs sorting.
Not happy with the previous owner who was obviously aware!

When the local tyre people broke my locking wheel nut key
we got a socket smaller than the nut hammered it on and very carefully undid each locking wheel nut it worked perfectly
hope all goes well with yours
