    Angry cooling bleed screw

I have a slight leak coming from the cooling system bleed screw at the moment . I have called the dealers about whether its available seperately and guess what NO IT ISN'T!!! . I'll have to buy the whole pipe £121 .
Just wondered if anyone has replaced the valve with a bolt or something more sturdier than that stupid plastic screw ?
    thank you in advance .

i wrung the head on mine when i was having trouble with the car boiling over and i got a bolt to fit it about 9 months ago ,at the time i said it will do for a week and its still there ,just make sure the threads are the same and maybe a small bit of plumbers tape, the only down fall with a bolt is you cant really bleed the system of air without fully loosening the bolt, alright when cold but not alright when 80 degrees
