yes mate, if your using the same type.. for yours it will quite an easy job...
cheers mate also the other day alll my light on my dash went off and the speedos fuel gauges etc but then next day was fine ant ideas what that could have been
i thought the oil and water goes through the turbo if thats the case theirs a bit more work than just unbolt turbo and rebolt it back on
this was on my other vec which runs perfect all that happened was the dash went off i was on the motorway and drove it home with out any problems then wen i strated the car the next day everything came back on
its a low pressure garrett turbo so no water lines, just an oil feed...
unbolt downpipe, remove air intake pipe, unbolt oil feel and oil drain pipes, unbolt turbo from manifold... refit is reverse of that... not much to it really
pour fresh oil direct into the the turbo oil intake to lube it properly before reinstalling the oil feed.. This is important, you do not want to start the engine with a dry turbo.. however if your fitting a secondhand unit it will already have some residual oil in it so will not be dry.. bad oil is biggest killer of turbos...
