    Default rear wiper not working?

cannot seem to work out why the rear wiper isnt working, i have checked fuses, removed boot cover and wires and motor look spot on. the stalk works fine an deven makes the quiet noise to say its been switched on.

has anyone got any ideas or does it look like its a new motor.

    cheers

I really hope you get down to the bottom of this as you describe the excact same symptoms as me right down to the stalk making the noise to say it's been activated, i was told mine could be a faulty CIM module by a fellow forum member, i'm thinking to check my roof loom, although iv'e not had the roof lining down before i wonder if the ribbon loom has chafed through or something. apart from that

Out of interest, do you have any other problems with the wiring as mine does.
The little orange light under the mirror stopped working + the auto dim mirror no longer dims
    The boot light stopped working.
All these happened at approx the same time

Have you checked for power at the motor end? Use a multimeter or a test bulb to see if you are indeed getting power. Check the relay?

Have you checked the motor with a multi-meter when the wiper is on, to make sure it is getting power?
