Default Thinking about a brake upgrade

Ok guys so ive been thinking about a brake upgrade for a while.
Have been watching a set of vxr discs on the fleabay.
What else would i need? My car is an 08 Veccy Estate. Has 17inch wheels on at the minute would the brakes even fit 17's???
If not would they fit 18's? as dont really want to get 19's.

So to summarise what else would i need if i just bought the discs?

314mm calipers and carriers plus spanking new discs and pads can be had for £200

leave them disks alone lol, they've got 36k miles plus you'll need 345 calipers and carriers which can be a shed load of money

yes u have, the discs have a nice big lip on them u can see from the photo... For the VXR setup calipers and carriers on their own are probably around the £300 mark...
