    Default chrome to carbon fibre

    considering changing all the chrome bits on my vec to carbon fibre finish including window pillars,anyone done this and got some photos?

    the window pillars are black arent they?

    a few people have done them in carbon and i will be too once i can get the car washed.

    ive done the chrome side bits in fibre. looks awesome. will post some pics when im home.

    The strips just pop off mate, start at door edge and work towards hinge. Just take your time with it. HTH

    I didnt take them off. Just cut the vinyl slightly larger than the strips, applied thwm, then used a credit card to score/mark where they joined the body. then used a scalpel to cut the vinyl along the score marks to fit. its actually incredibly easy.
