Default Spark plugs and coil pack

After finding out today that my car has a misfire on cylinder 4 I have been looking at getting a new coil pack and a set of speak plugs!
Been told that a new coil pack is about £140 + Vat. Been looking at them on e-bay and found this [ame="http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200712580595?redirect=mobile"]VECTRA C SRI 2.2 COIL PACK | eBay[/ame] it has the same bosch and vauxhall numbers on as mine. Is it ok to buy a second hand one and is the price ok?

What are the better plugs to use vauxhall ones or a set fron halfords (I have a trade card)

The cars a standard 2.2 direct on a 04 plate

    Thanks!

seems ok for that price maybe worth a gamble at least if you buy new you get a years warrenty, id be conserned at how long that coil lasts if the plugs wernt changed often it may not last long, with the plugs i would go for vauxhall or the expensive halfrauds ones

Pm I've also been looking at new ones found this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-S...c#ht_794wt_689
The Bosch code is the same and so is the engine code z22yh the same as mine but the vauxhall part number not!
would it be alright or do I Need the vauxhall code to match aswell?

    Thanks

Have you had the codes read mate? Id get that done before you splash out on any parts, even the HP pump can cause misfires on the direct and thats a very common falure on the z22yh.

I too have an (04 reg) 2.2 Direct and want to change the plugs. The car has done 93.000 miles on the same set but i'm wary about lifting off the coil pack to gain access to be plugs and possibily causing a problem.I know a little about cars but not loads. If i do change them i myself will go for the VX type.

It's easy to ehange the plugs fella I changed the coil and plugs for new ones today!

For the coil pack just unplug it and undo the 4 bolts holding it and it just lifts out!

Only took about 15 minutes and i hope it's sorted the problem (no codes show now!)

Thanks for that,as i said i would like to change the plugs but not to sure how to do it.Can u tell me what is involved since we both have the 2.2 Direct (z22zh).Does the coil pack lift off the top of the plugs o.k and what is needed to get the plugs out because i heard they are deep into the engine.
