I hate adverts. Cant watch TV without 10 minutes worth of adverts every 10 minutes of program (thats how it feels some nights).

I get that sick to death of it I start roaming channels sometimes and lose interest

If I'm watching TV with others I prefer to turn the sound off during adverts (something I hated my parents doing) but now find I do it myself

Anyone else the same, or do you love the adverts repeated every 10 minutes. Even on Youtube now as well.

If I cant watch it on demand/Iplayer etc then yes I tend to mute the adverts too (Although we dont watch much tv)

So if someone came to the door trying to sell me stuff, I have the option not to answer or put a sign up to stop people annoying me,

I can opt out of telephone marketing and stop people from calling me.

Why cant I stop adverts landing in my living room from the TV though?

I pay my TV Licence, I pay my internet fees, I dont want to be advertised to.... why cant I opt out !!

Not only that, but they now advertise during programs with that equally annoying bar at the bottom. That really is annoying

Also noticed it on you tube etc,

Some have a pop up bar that you can just close BUT some make you watch 5 or so seconds of the add before you can skip it and watch the clip you want to watch

Used to leave the wee fella watching thomas vids on the computer but with all the ads now he keeps getting redirected all over the place as he's not always great at hitting the cross.
To much money involved these days to be simple I suppose

I hate the fact that when a programme is interrupted for an advert, say 10 minutes in, all the other channels switch to ads at the same time as well, so no matter which channel you choose you're stuck with ads for 8-10 minutes.

PPI, Stupidly high rate short term loan adverts and 'where theres a blame theres a claim' ones do my head in the most! No-one should be stupid enough to contact any of them as they are all a huge rip off and I don't even get how they can advertise so much on the box!
