    Vehicle : 2007 1.9cdti sri 150 estate

    Trim : sri

    Engine : 1.9cdti 150

    Year : 2007

    Default rear tweeters

what are the chances of my 07 estate having the rear tweeters, or at least the wiring for them?

atm i have wind up windows in the back but have managed to source some rear electric switches so while swapping them i may as well throw the tweeters in also?

are they the same in all vauxhalls do we know?

I didn't have the wiring in my preface, but i did retrofit them quite easily

The standard tweeters can be fitted to the existing blanking plates.

Remove the existing blanking plate and pop your hand in the door. If the wiring is already there for it, it won't be hiding far

If you're fitting the rear electric windows you need to change the door looms anyway and they will have the tweeter connections on them and the new switch panels should have the tweeter housing. All the door tweeters are identical front and rear so you can just obtain a pair and chuck them in.

well i would like to eventually do the rear electric windows but these switches came up with blue leds in so i went for them for now.

might take me a while to gather all the bits together for rear leccy windows but it is an aim one day.

If you don't have the wiring, as long as you have the genuine Vec C tweeters (they have the capacitor fitted already), you can just tap a wire onto the back of the door speakers and run it to the tweeter and they will work.
